I'm just wondering if a Blogger (like me) stops blogging and instead just does twitter and facebook, would the world really miss my blog?
I mean really...
Would they? I swear I'm not looking for petty little "Aw, Matt, you're so awesome and wonderful" sentiments either. I mean, what if twitter is the new "Insta-blog"?
If so, I think it's just a lot better use of my time,
thoughts?

well, if twitter makes better use of your time then do that. i'm going to ramp up my blog on yardbarker...i've neglected it for too long. time to start writing about baseball and life...
I don't Twitter- yet. But I sure would miss your blogs. I often send them on via email to friends and family.
Pastor Steve is right! Maybe cut back to a couple per week if it's better use of your time?!

I would miss not getting a blog in my in box once in awhile. It helps us keep connected with you and NLC while we are not there.

Twitter seems to be a medium for daily updates. Blogs give you an opportunity to go deeper than 140 characters. I like both. I follow your posts more than your tweets.
I really enjoy your blogs. If I don't have time to read them one day; I like that I can catch up on them another day. I'm just getting used to this blogging...don't leave me yet.
This is not an "Awww..Matt" comment...but I would really miss the blogs! Twitter is great for those instant, only have a minute to talk comments...but blogs go deeper. Plus..it's my chance to stay connected to life in Fort Myers, and all the great things going on at NLC. Keep the blog!!!
Please don't give up the blog site. We need you. I have not looked at the blog in a long time. I worried it won't be there when I need it. Remember St. Paul and his letters, who knew they'd be in the Bible. Keep up the good work. I love the ipod messages. I can't go to Church at the moment because of our new baby. I miss your messages. Pray to God about the blog. He has all the answers. Just remember, don't forget your roots. Years ago you would die for a blog about God.

I stopped blogging and used twitter a few months ago, and I've had a few people tell me they miss it.
So I've started trying to post on the blog a little more often than never, but I've certainly cut back.
I think there are some things twitter can't do justice to, and in this case, the blog is a great means.
I say keep the blog, but use it 2-3 times a week instead of daily.
I don't do the twitter thing - but something similar - facebook (which can be twittered too). I've noticed a multiplied jump in my blog and church website traffic. I think they go hand-in-hand.
I think Twitter has replaced the need for a DAILY blog entry. I think blogs now can go further between entries, but the expectation is a little higher for depth.
Please don't stop blogging!! Twitter is fun for "hey guess what guys" but....I really look forward to your insight, twittering is like texting a BFF rather than calling to chat, not the same.
Hey...it's already been 8 days? Have you decided to stop blogging? I too do not feel blogging needs to be every day, but it was nice to feel more connected to you and the church through your bloggs. Guess this is another vote for the blogg.
You are touching lives through your sharing of thoughts and experiences; I would hate to see the blog disappear... and quite honestly, I am finding more and more value, true spiritual value, in the reading of yours, Mike's and your peers' blogs. They all offer a tranquil and sometimes humorous moment away from the day to day grind of life. Like SOAP-ing, blogging touches lives.
Is it time to launch a new and improved blog, with all the fanfare of "new and improved"; something daring, exciting, and courageous?
